As the municipal aggregator for the towns of Cape Cod and Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Light Compact’s selected power supplier (in this case, NextEra Energy Services) is automatically the supplier for every new Eversource electric account established within the Compact’s service territory. The benefits of the Compact’s power supply program are that it has stable and competitive pricing, does not require you to sign a service contract, is 100% renewable, and allows you to opt-out without any kind of penalties if you wish to do so. There are many competitive power supply offers available to Massachusetts electricity customers, but they may not offer these benefits.
